Dubai International Boat Show 2025: A Complete Round-Up of Luxury Yachts, Innovations, and Future Trends

The 2025 Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS), which took place from February 19 to 23 at Dubai Harbour, celebrated its 31st anniversary with outstanding showcases and industry developments. The show, the ultimate maritime event, showcased more than 1,000 brands from over 60 nations, displaying a rich collection of yachts, marine hardware, and high-end lifestyle items.

Event Highlights

Superyacht Launch: The event saw the launch of “Lily,” a 330-foot superyacht from Dutch shipbuilders Oceanco and Vripack. Designed around lily pads, Lily features an asymmetrical look with decks that overlap, a helicopter deck, outdoor pool, and private lily pond in the owner’s quarters. Green methanol partially powers it, with a focus on sustainability.

Mercury Marine Dominance: Mercury Marine solidified its dominance in marine propulsion technology, with more than 80% of the engines on display at the event. This overwhelming presence reflects the brand’s dominance in the region.

Marine Technology Innovations: The event featured state-of-the-art marine equipment, such as advanced navigation systems, green propulsion technologies, and the newest in water sports technology.
