Dubai Tourism Surges with 94% Visitor Satisfaction, Says KPMG Report

Dubai tourism has witnessed a landmark achievement according to KPMG Report for 2024, which found that about 94 percent of all visitors were satisfied with hotel services. From 92 percent reported in the previous year, this reflects a considerable increase.

Factors Intensifying Visitors Satisfaction

More so many things that made up this surge of happiness among visitors:

  • Varied Tourism Offerings: The intensive efforts Dubai has made to widen tourism appeal, along with some offerings, added a collection of experiences or categories of tourism such as culture-based tourism, adventure and business-culinary and health tourism.
  • Excellent Infrastructure and Technology: Improved modern facilities and integrated technology have uplifted the customer experience as a whole.
  • Customized and Sustainable Experiences: There is more tendency towards unique, eco-friendly, and culturally rich experience designs, prompting hotels to arrange curated activities such as desert safaris, cultural tours, and traditional dining.

Performance of the Hotel Industry:

The report also reinforces the positive trend in the hospitality sector:
Occupation: Advances from the 77.1 to the 77.77 percent in 2024.
Average Daily Rate (ADR): An increase from AED 654.4 to AED 666.

Changes of Policy Effects

Changes in policies are among the reasons why visitors now have increased numbers:
Longer Tourist Visas for Travelers: An example of this is the newly extended tourist visa to Indians that impacted decision making such that 70 percent of those surveyed would likely visit the UAE much more because of this policy change.

Future Prospects

Dubai is proving its commitment towards tourism by strategic programs and investments in infrastructure and services. In striving to become a leading firm in world tourism, the emphasis on customer satisfaction and variety will be central to its growth strategy.
